Desk Correspondent , Karnataka - A peaceful morning turned into a nightmare in Karnataka’s Chitradurga district following a deadly road accident. A private bus collided head-on with another vehicle, leaving the bus completely mangled and destroyed. The impact was so strong that several passengers were thrown out onto the road, while others were trapped inside the wreckage. Rescue teams and local residents rushed to the spot to help, but the scene was truly heartbreaking with charred bodies scattered across the site. It is one of the most tragic road accidents the area has seen in recent times.

Eyewitnesses and officials described the aftermath as a scene of total devastation and chaos. The force of the crash caused a fire to break out, making it very difficult for survivors to escape the burning vehicle. Local police officers arrived quickly to manage the crowd and start the identification process for the victims. One police official at the scene shared the gravity of the situation by saying, "The collision was so violent that the bus was reduced to a heap of metal within seconds." He also noted that the speed of the vehicles likely played a major role in this disaster.

Grieving family members have started reaching the hospital, where the survivors are currently receiving emergency medical treatment. Authorities have promised a full investigation to find out if mechanical failure or driver negligence caused the crash. A government representative expressed deep sorrow for the families involved, stating, "We are doing everything possible to provide the best care for the injured and support the families of the deceased." For now, a heavy silence hangs over the highway as workers clear the debris from the road. The entire state is mourning the loss of so many innocent lives in this horrific tragedy.
