Ananya Lohia , Delhi - A First AC coupe on the Nandigram Express turned into a "honeymoon suite," but the romantic surprise has now landed Indian Railways in controversy after the video went viral on social media.

The couple, travelling from Jalna to Mumbai on July 6, allegedly hired a private decorator online to transform their First AC coupe with flowers, balloons, rose petals and an "I Love You" message. The unique decoration quickly caught the internet's attention, with users dubbing the train the "Suhagraat Express" and sharing memes and jokes. Following the viral video, the South Central Railway clarified that the decorator had entered the coach without authorisation, calling it a serious security lapse.

The railway administration has suspended the staff member concerned and ordered a departmental inquiry into the incident. While many social media users criticised the security breach, others jokingly suggested that Indian Railways should officially introduce honeymoon decoration packages for passengers.

Railway officials have said strict action will be taken after the inquiry, reaffirming that unauthorised access to reserved coaches will not be permitted.
