Several northeastern states are also likely to experience persistent rainfall over the next week, raising concerns over flooding, waterlogging, and disruptions to daily life.

According to the latest weather forecasts, coastal and interior regions of Kerala and Karnataka are expected to receive widespread rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds.
