One executive, who usually takes an hour to reach home, shared that he left his office at 5 pm but did not manage to get back until 11 pm. His experience reflects the larger struggle faced by many across the city, as rainwater submerged roads and traffic movement slowed to a crawl.

Key routes like NH-48, Sohna Road, and Golf Course Extension Road saw massive snarls, with vehicles barely moving for long stretches. Public transport also came under stress, as buses and cabs struggled to navigate the flooded roads.

Residents took to social media to share images and videos of the situation, expressing frustration over poor drainage and lack of timely action. Many questioned why the city faces the same problems year after year despite repeated assurances from civic bodies.
