Desk Correspondent , New Delhi - The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) results today, recording an impressive overall pass percentage of over 99%. Continuing a long-standing trend, girl students have once again outperformed boys across both categories. The results, which reflect the academic performance of thousands of students nationwide, were made available on the council’s official website and via SMS services.
According to the data released by the council, the pass percentage for ICSE stood at 99.18%, while the ISC students achieved a pass rate of 98.13%. In the Class 10 exams, girls secured a pass percentage of 99.46% compared to 99.93% for boys. Similarly, in the Class 12 exams, 98.48% of girls passed, significantly higher than the 97.81% recorded by their male counterparts, highlighting a consistent gap in academic achievement.
School administrators and educators have lauded the high success rates, noting the resilience of students in maintaining high standards. Following the announcement, the council confirmed that the marks for all subjects would be available for digital download through the DigiLocker platform. Students who are dissatisfied with their results can apply for a recheck of their answer scripts through the official portal within the stipulated timeframe announced by the board.
