Shivani Jaiswal , Uttar Pradesh - In Hardoi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the Ganga Expressway as more than just a highway—calling it a strategic backbone for Uttar Pradesh’s next phase of growth. Addressing a public gathering, he framed the project as a catalyst that will connect smaller towns to larger economic hubs, unlocking new business and employment opportunities.  

He pointed out that improved road infrastructure is already changing how industries view Uttar Pradesh, with faster logistics and reduced travel times making the state more attractive for investment. The expressway, he suggested, could gradually turn nearby regions into emerging centers for manufacturing, agriculture trade, and services.

Modi also underlined how projects like this are designed to narrow the rural-urban divide, ensuring that development benefits reach villages as much as cities. With Hardoi as a focal point during the visit, the message was clear: infrastructure is being positioned as the driving force behind inclusive growth.

Officials believe the expressway will not only ease movement but also spark a chain reaction boosting local economies, improving access to essential services, and strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s role in India’s broader economic ambitions.
