Fire Tenders Battle High-Rise Blaze and Restaurant Fire in Noida, Everyone Rescued Safely

Ranit Kr. Singh , Lucknow — A major fire broke out in a 12th-floor apartment of the 28-storey Ivy County residential society in Sector 75 early Friday morning, triggering panic and a swift emergency evacuation. Thick black smoke and flames were visible from nearby areas as local police and fire service units rushed to the scene around 7:00 AM. Emergency responders utilizing specialized suits and breathing apparatus bravely entered the burning structure to battle the flames, which had spread across two adjacent flats. Fortunately, firefighters successfully rescued a husband, wife, and their children who were trapped inside the burning apartment, ensuring that no injuries or loss of life occurred during the entire operation.

While firefighting operations were actively underway at the residential high-rise, a second independent emergency alert was received regarding a separate blaze at a commercial complex near Shatabdi Vihar in Sector 52. Fire officials quickly split their resources to address this second crisis, which originated on the ground floor of a building housing a restaurant and an upper-floor paying guest facility. Fire service personnel executed another highly successful evacuation operation at this commercial site, pulling 15 people to safety from the smoke-filled building. This second fire was also brought completely under control with zero casualties, wrapping up a tense morning for Noida's emergency teams.

Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar stated that the high-rise blaze was likely caused by an air conditioner short circuit or potentially originated in the flat's prayer room, while the restaurant fire stemmed from a freezer short circuit. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took immediate cognisance of the incidents and directed officials to expedite relief operations, prompting an official statement from Lucknow. The statement read: "The chief minister directed the administration to remain alert at all levels and ensure continuous monitoring of the relief efforts."
