Ananya Lohia , Germany - Bundesliga champions FC Bayern Munich completed a dominant domestic double after defeating holders VfB Stuttgart 3-0 in the German Cup final in Berlin on Saturday. England captain Harry Kane starred with a brilliant second-half 
hat-trick, ending Bayern’s six-year wait for the trophy and sealing the club’s 21st German Cup title.

Kane opened the scoring after the break with a close-range header from a precise cross delivered by Michael Olise, who continued his outstanding campaign by registering his 30th assist of the season. Despite Stuttgart troubling Bayern on the counterattack in the first half, the Bavarian side took control after the opener. Kane doubled the lead in the final 10 minutes after combining with Luis Diaz before calmly converting a stoppage-time penalty to complete his hat-trick.

The victory secured Bayern’s 14th league-and-cup double, further underlining their dominance in German football. Kane’s treble also took his remarkable tally to 61 goals in all competitions this season, capping off one of the finest campaigns of his career.
