On the reality show Rise & Fall, choreographer and influencer Dhanashree Verma became emotional after fellow contestant Aahana Kumra questioned her character—particularly suggesting she “clings to men.”
During a segment where the bottom three contestants had to pitch themselves to avoid elimination, content creator Akriti Negi revealed that Aahana had made remarks about Dhanashree’s behavior while in the penthouse. Hearing this distressed Dhanashree, and she later confronted it in the basement.
Dhanashree responded to the criticism by saying that she felt deeply hurt. She shared, “I cried a lot that day … I felt bad about it.” She also said she had stood by Aahana when she was under pressure, despite feeling wounded by her words. According to her, she has never spoken ill of anyone on the show or dragged her personal life into the game.
She added that she doesn’t believe Aahana anymore and feels unsafe speaking freely, since she thinks “people are crossing their limits now.”
This incident adds to ongoing tensions between the contestants over Dhanashree’s frequent mentions of her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal—something Aahana Kumra has called repetitive and an attempt to play the “victim card.”
