The fight started after Amaal claimed in an interview that he was the inspiration for the duo's massive hit song, "Bekhayali." The controversy has grown louder, with Sachet–Parampara publicly demanding that Amaal Mallik issue a formal apology. They warned that if he does not say sorry, they are ready to take legal action against him. When reporters recently asked Amaal about the issue, he refused to answer any questions. He only offered a polite smile and the brief comment, "All the best," before his team quickly stepped in to move him away.
