Ananya Lohia , Mumbai - Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna’s romantic drama Cocktail 2 continued its box office run on Day 11, though the film witnessed the usual weekday dip in collections. According to trade estimates, the film earned ₹1.75 crore net in India on Monday, taking its total domestic collection to ₹84.90 crore.
After a steady second weekend, where it collected over ₹4 crore on both Saturday and Sunday, the film saw a drop in momentum at the start of the week. However, it remains one of Shahid Kapoor’s stronger-performing releases in recent years and is now just a step away from crossing the ₹85 crore mark.
Directed by Homi Adajania, Cocktail 2 has already surpassed the lifetime collection of O'Romeo and is set to overtake Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya in the coming days. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the film has managed to attract audiences with its contemporary take on relationships and commitment.
With the second weekend ahead, trade analysts will be watching closely to see whether Cocktail 2 can maintain its hold at the box office and push towards the ₹100 crore milestone. If you want it in a shorter entertainment-news style, I can make it more like a TV or social media copy.
