News Desk : After a strong opening weekend, Cocktail 2 continues its successful run at the box office despite the expected weekday dip. Starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, the film has crossed the ₹100-crore mark worldwide in just five days.
According to trade figures, the romantic drama collected ₹7.35 crore on Tuesday, slightly improving from its Monday collection of ₹6.90 crore. The film had opened strongly with ₹14.10 crore on Friday, followed by ₹17.15 crore on Saturday and ₹18.85 crore on Sunday. Its total India net collection now stands at ₹64.35 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh said the film remains on track to finish its first week with around ₹73 crore net in India, depending on its performance on Wednesday and Thursday.
Meanwhile, trade analyst Sumit Kadel reported that the film has grossed ₹106.61 crore worldwide, making it one of the biggest box-office performers of the year. Directed by Homi Adajania, the film has managed to outperform several recent releases and continues to attract audiences with its mix of romance, drama and modern relationships. The spiritual sequel to the 2012 hit Cocktail has received a strong response from moviegoers, helping it maintain a steady run during weekdays.
The coming weeks will be crucial for Cocktail 2 as it faces fresh competition from upcoming releases, including Welcome to the Jungle and Alpha. However, with over ₹100 crore already collected worldwide, the film has established itself as one of the year's biggest commercial successes.
