Shivani Jaiswal ,New Delhi-Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the satirical political initiative known as the Cockroach Janta Party, has claimed that he received death threats on WhatsApp shortly after launching the online campaign that gained widespread attention on social media.
Dipke stated that the messages were sent from an unknown number and included threatening language. He shared screenshots of the alleged chats online, saying that the situation escalated only days after the political satire movement began trending across digital platforms.
The campaign, which quickly went viral for its unconventional and humorous political messaging, has sparked both support and criticism online. While many users engaged with the satire in a light-hearted manner, the latest claim of threats has raised concerns over online safety and digital harassment.
Dipke has urged authorities to take note of the incident and ensure protection against such threats, while also continuing to highlight the need for responsible online behaviour and freedom of expression in digital spaces.
