CJP Demands Accountability Over NEET Exam Leak Scandal

Shivani Jaiswal, New Delhi-
Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP) has called for strict accountability and transparent action in connection with the alleged NEET examination paper leak controversy, which has sparked widespread concern among students, parents, and education experts across the country.

The organization stated that the integrity of competitive examinations is fundamental to ensuring equal opportunities for aspiring students. According to CJP, any breach in the examination process not only undermines public trust but also jeopardizes the future of lakhs of candidates who prepare rigorously for years.

CJP urged authorities to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the alleged irregularities. The group emphasized that those found responsible, whether individuals or organized networks, should face legal consequences without delay. It also called for greater transparency in the examination system and stronger safeguards to prevent similar incidents in the future.

The alleged leak has triggered protests and demands for justice from student groups in several regions. Many candidates have expressed anxiety over the fairness of the examination process, with concerns that genuine merit may have been compromised.

CJP further recommended the adoption of advanced security measures, regular audits, and enhanced monitoring mechanisms for high-stakes national examinations. The organization argued that restoring confidence among students must remain a top priority for policymakers and educational authorities.

As investigations continue, the controversy has reignited a broader debate on examination security and institutional accountability. Students and stakeholders are now closely watching the government's response, hoping for swift action that ensures fairness, transparency, and credibility in India's competitive examination system.
