Martin, however, defended the tradition, saying it was meant to spread joy and create shared memories among fans. He emphasized that Coldplay concerts are about music, love, and connection, and that the kiss cam has always been a fun way to engage the audience.
Despite the recent scandal, fans have expressed support for keeping the segment, noting that it adds to the inclusive and celebratory atmosphere of the band’s performances.
