News Desk : A 33-year-old Bengaluru-based businessman was found dead at actor and former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant Krishi Thapanda’s residence in RR Nagar, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The deceased, identified as Vaishak, was reportedly staying at an apartment linked to Krishi Thapanda for the past few days. According to police, he was alone at the residence when the incident occurred on the night of June 24. Investigators said Vaishak had allegedly tried to contact Krishi before the incident and later sent messages indicating his intention to end his life. At the time, the actor was reportedly away from Bengaluru. After noticing the messages, she alerted his family members, who rushed to the apartment. However, Vaishak was found dead before help could reach him.

Police have not recovered any note or recorded message from the scene. Based on a complaint filed by the businessman’s father, a case of unnatural death has been registered and further investigation is underway. Vaishak had previously come under the police scanner in connection with an alleged extortion and threat case earlier this year, though he was later released on bail. Authorities are now examining all angles to determine the circumstances leading to his death.

With no note recovered and several questions still unanswered, police are continuing their probe into the death. Actor Krishi Thapanda has not yet issued a public statement on the incident.
