Ananya Lohia , Mumbai - Actor Bobby Deol has revealed that the next generation of the Deol family is ready to step into Bollywood. Speaking on Aap Ki Adalat, the actor shared that both his sons, Aryaman and Dharam Deol, are interested in pursuing acting careers despite his hopes that his elder son would choose a different professional path.
Bobby said that although he encouraged Aryaman to study finance and build a career abroad, his son ultimately decided to follow his passion for films. Aryaman completed his studies at New York University with honours, but according to Bobby, he has always been drawn towards acting and cinema. The actor revealed that Aryaman is currently training himself before making his Bollywood debut. During the COVID-19 lockdown, Aryaman reportedly taught himself filmmaking techniques, including editing, sound design and dubbing. Bobby also praised his son’s dedication towards fitness and dance, sharing that he learned dancing through YouTube videos and worked hard on improving his skills.
Bobby further stated that both his sons dream of becoming actors, adding that the glamour and attraction of the film industry often inspire people from different professions to explore acting. On the work front, Bobby Deol will next be seen in Bandar, directed by Anurag Kashyap. He also has Yash Raj Films’ spy thriller Alpha alongside Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the pipeline.
With Aryaman and Dharam Deol showing strong interest in acting, the Deol family’s Bollywood legacy could soon continue into another generation. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see when the star kids officially make their debut on the big screen.
