In a major step toward expanding its international engagement, India’s ruling party, Bharatiya Janata Party has opened its doors to representatives and visitors from 12 countries under its new “Know BJP” campaign. The initiative aims to showcase the party’s political journey, governance model, organizational structure, and vision for India on the global stage.
Party leaders stated that the program is designed to build stronger democratic connections with political groups, policymakers, researchers, and members of the Indian diaspora worldwide. Delegates participating in the campaign will interact with senior BJP leaders, visit party offices, and gain insight into India’s political and developmental landscape.
According to party officials, the outreach effort reflects BJP’s growing international presence and its attempt to present India’s governance and policy framework to a wider audience. The initiative is also expected to encourage cultural exchange and strengthen diplomatic understanding between India and participating nations.
Political observers believe the “Know BJP” campaign could become a key platform for enhancing India’s soft power while promoting dialogue on democracy, development, technology, and global cooperation.
The BJP has increasingly focused on international engagement in recent years, especially among overseas Indians and global institutions, as India continues to play a larger role in world affairs.
