A video showing a group of youngsters standing out of a moving car’s sunroof in Bengaluru has gone viral on social media, prompting swift action from city police. The clip, widely shared online, shows the passengers engaging in risky behavior while the vehicle was being driven on a busy road.
After identifying the vehicle from the video, police booked the driver for negligent driving and endangering public safety. Officials stated that such stunts not only violate traffic rules but also pose serious risks to both the passengers and others on the road.
The Bengaluru Traffic Police have urged citizens to refrain from indulging in or promoting such dangerous acts, warning that strict penalties will be imposed on violators. They also appealed to the public to report similar incidents by sharing evidence with the authorities.
The incident has reignited discussions on road safety and responsible driving, especially among young motorists, as authorities continue efforts to curb reckless behavior on city roads.
