New Delhi, August 28 – The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has finalized its travel list for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025 in Dubai, leaving out Yashasvi Jaiswal, Prasidh Krishna, and three other players.
According to reports, the decision was taken after a final review by the selection committee, which considered form, fitness, and team balance ahead of the high-stakes tournament. While the official squad has already been announced, the trimmed travel list means the excluded players will not be accompanying the team to Dubai.
The BCCI has not released names of the other three players who were dropped, but sources suggest that the move is part of a strategy to keep the travelling contingent compact and focused.
India is expected to open its Asia Cup campaign with a high-voltage clash against Pakistan in early September.
