India entered the final with a perfect 6-0 record, dominating their way through the group and Super Four stages.  Pakistan, meanwhile, secured their spot by edging out Bangladesh in a tight Super Four match.  Their clash in earlier rounds already had spark: the cricket was competitive and emotionally charged.
