Ananya Lohia , Ayodhya - Actor Anupam Kher visited the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya ahead of the shoot of his upcoming film Shri Ram Bhoomi and said those responsible for the alleged donation embezzlement should be caught and punished.

Seeking blessings at the Ram temple, Anupam Kher said the alleged theft of donation money should not affect the sanctity or dignity of the temple. Comparing the incident to a theft in a house, he said wrongdoing by a few individuals should not tarnish the faith associated with Lord Ram and Sanatan Dharma. The actor's remarks come amid an ongoing controversy over the alleged embezzlement of donations at the Ram Mandir.

Meanwhile, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust has accepted the resignations of General Secretary Champat Rai and trustee Anil Mishra. Rai has urged people to wait for the Special Investigation Team's final report before drawing conclusions. The SIT is currently examining the financial trail, handling of donations, and the role of officials involved in managing cash and jewellery offered at the temple.

As the investigation continues, authorities have assured that those found guilty will face action, while Anupam Kher has appealed that the controversy should not diminish the faith and sanctity associated with the Ram Mandir.
