A tragic fire broke out on October 8, 2025, at a crackers manufacturing factory located in the Dr B R Ambedkar Konaseema district of Andhra Pradesh, claiming the lives of six workers and injuring two others.
According to preliminary reports, about 15 workers were present inside the facility when the blaze erupted. Flames spread quickly, trapping several employees and making escape difficult. The injured workers were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Law enforcement and fire department teams have begun investigations into the cause. One leading theory is that the fire may have been triggered by a short circuit. Authorities are also reviewing whether the manufacturing unit was operating with proper licenses and whether safety regulations were being followed.
