Mumbai - In a startling turn of events, Infosys co-founder Kris Gopalakrishnan, along with 17 others, has been booked under the SC/ST Atrocities Act, raising questions about corporate ethics and social responsibility.

The complainant, Durgappa, a former faculty member at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and a member of the tribal Bovi community, alleges that in 2014, he was falsely implicated in a honey trap case, leading to his dismissal. He further contends that he was subjected to caste-based abuse and threats by the accused.
