Box Office Showdown: Badass Ravikumar Dominates Over Loveyapa in Opening Week!
Mumbai - In a surprising twist, the much-anticipated Bollywood releases of February 7, 2025, have yielded unexpected results at the box office. Despite high expectations, both Badass Ravikumar and Loveyapa have struggled to make a significant impact, with neither film crossing the ₹10 crore mark in their opening week.
Badass Ravikumar, starring Himesh Reshammiya, opened with a strong ₹2.75 crore on its release day. However, the film experienced a sharp decline over the subsequent days, with earnings of ₹2 crore on Saturday, ₹1.4 crore on Sunday, ₹0.6 crore on Monday, and approximately ₹0.5 crore on Tuesday. By the end of its opening week, the film had accumulated a total of ₹7.77 crore.
Similarly, Loveyapa, featuring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, had a modest start with ₹1.15 crore on its release day. The film's earnings showed a slight increase over the weekend, with ₹1.65 crore on Saturday and ₹1.75 crore on Sunday. However, it faced a decline in the following days, earning ₹0.55 crore on Monday and ₹0.51 crore on Tuesday. By the end of its opening week, Loveyapa had grossed approximately ₹5 crore.
Both films faced stiff competition from other releases and struggled to maintain audience interest throughout the week. The decline in box office collections suggests that despite star power and high expectations, the films failed to resonate with a broader audience.
